Unified Planning Work Program

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is the annual guide for transportation planning activities within the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). It outlines the planning efforts carried out by Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG), the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA), including project priorities, work tasks, funding sources, and budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. The program covers transportation planning activities related to highways, transit, active transportation, air quality, modeling, public engagement, and technical assistance.
