The 2025-2029 Orem Draft Consolidated Plan and FY25 Action Plan Is Now Available!

The Five-year Consolidated Plan is a guiding document for investing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The proposed plan was heavily informed by Orem residents and experts in the field of housing, homelessness, community development, and service providers. Your feedback is important to Orem's Community Development. Public input ensures CDBG plans and funding reflects community needs and priorities, leading to more effective allocation of resources.A public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 5:00 PM at 586 E 800 N Orem, UT 84097. Orem critical home repair 

Orem residents can find more information about and apply for the Critical Home Repair program, which administers grants and loans for Orem residents seeking necessary repairs to their homes, at the following link: Critical Home Repair & Housing Rehabilitation Program – City of Orem

Please find an environmental review pending the NOtice of intent to request release of funds for an orem single family home here! 

The Orem Critical Home Repair programs undertakes environmental reviews for each single family home we rehabilitate. When there are certain environmental conditions present, the program is required to post the environmental review record for public comment. In the case of this home, the environmental condition in question is the presence of radon over the threshold level of 4.0 pCi/L - the home measured at 4.1 pCi/L, 0.1 over the threshold.

The environmental review record will be available for comment until June 28, 2025. Please leave comments by reaching out to Taylor Draney at tdraney@magutah.gov.

CONSOLIDATED PLAN

The 5-year Consolidated Plan identifies community and housing needs, market conditions, and program priorities and goals.

ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

The Annual Action Plan details projects and activities for the upcoming program year, along with expected resources and outcomes to fulfill the goals of the Consolidated Plan. It also includes the citizen participation plan.

CAPER

The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report summarizes the performance of the previous program year’s activities.
