SHIP/SMP: Medicare counselor's assistant


The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides unbiased help to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers. Senior Medicare Patrols (SMPs) empower and assist these community members to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education.

If you have prior experience with Medicare or Medicare counseling (2 years+ ideal), we would love to welcome you to volunteer. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
