| Park City | Multimodal Wayfinding Plan - This project will establish a unified signage system across transportation corridors, guiding residents and visitors to trails, transit, park-and-rides, and key destinations throughout the City and region. This effort will include vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle-scale wayfinding. In addition to serving local residents and the city’s 3 to 4 million annual visitors, this effort will help the city prepare for the 2034 Winter Olympics. TAG IV Award: $150,000. Local Match: $45,000. Total Project Budget: $195,000 |
| Payson | Downtown Trigger Site Implementation Planning - This project will advance implementation of the recently completed Payson Downtown Gateway Plan. Specifically, this effort will result in a concept plan for the intersection of 100 N and Main Street, as well as conceptual designs for several vacant/underutilized opportunity sites on Main Street. TAG IV Award: 108,000. Local Match: $12,000. Total Project Budget: $120,000 |
| MAG to manage on behalf of Utah Lake Authority (ULA) | Southeast Utah Lake Shoreline Trail Site Plans And Conceptual Designs - ULA, MAG, Utah County, Provo, and Springville will coordinate to plan the Utah Lake Shoreline Trail from its current southern terminus (500 West and Lakeview Parkway in Provo) to Lincoln Beach. This 14-mile project will update the current feasible trail alignment and outline the sequencing needed for future construction and land use planning for trail access. The two-mile stretch known as “Mill Race” between Lakeview Parkway in Provo and 1400 North in Springville is the next extension of the Shoreline Trail and will receive the highest level of attention and planning detail. TAG IV Award: $50,000. MAG TIP Planning funds (pending approval): $170,000. Local Match: $50,000. Total Project Budget: $270,000 |
| Orem | Orem Union Bench Canal Trail (UBCT) and Utility Corridor Master Plan - This project will result in an actionable Master Plan for repurposing 5.25 miles of the North Union and Provo Bench Canals to a paved regional active transportation trail. Immediate planning is critical to prevent land fragmentation, legal disputes, and flooding hazards following the canal companies’ pending dissolutions. Deliverables will include a parcel-by-parcel acquisition strategy, engineering concepts for stacking a trail over utility infrastructure, and a phased implementation plan. TAG IV Award: 108,000. Local Match: $27,000. Total Project Budget: $135,000. |
| Fairfield and Cedar Fort | Transportation Master Plans - A single consultant will be selected to assist each town in preparing their own Transportation Master Plans. This effort will build upon recent General Plan updates and the TAG-funded West Utah County Interagency Action Plan. TAG IV Award: $150,000. Local Match: $15,000. Total Project Budget: $165,000. |
| Alpine | Development & Municipal Code Update - Building on the recent TAG-funded Main Street & Gateways Plan, this effort will address outdated, inconsistent land use regulations and better coordinate land use with transportation infrastructure improvements.
