THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ideal Candidate
MAG is looking for a visionary leader with a passion for and proven background in
organizational management and fundraising. The next Director of Aging and
Family Services will bring fresh, innovative ideas and dynamic approaches to
achieve the department’s goals.
Additionally, the next Director must have exemplary leadership skills for both
management of internal staff of the department and external coordination with
political and private stakeholders. A key component is to build talent, cohesion,
and capability of staff.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess no less than six years of progressively
responsible experience with fundraising, staff management, working with boards
of directors, and stakeholder relations. Competitive candidates will possess a
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human services, public health,
philanthropy, non-profit management, public administration, or closely related
field. A master’s degree in a closely relate field is preferred but not required.
