MAG | Director of Aging and Family Services

THE POSITION

This is a senior level position tasked with managing the Aging and Family Services
Department. MAG is the designated Area Agency (AAA) for the MAG region and
plays a key role in planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering a wide range
of long-term care services and supports to customers in our service area such as:

• Meals on Wheels • Medicaid Counseling
• Dementia Resources • Caregiver Support

• Retired and Senior • Transportation Options
Volunteer Program
• Health Promotion

Primary Responsibilities

Serves as the Face of the AAA to maximize the agency’s presence and connectivity
in the community and expand the awareness of the breadth of the AAA
contributions to the community. Manages a portfolio of strategic relationships
with local elected officials, community leaders, stakeholders, and donors.
Develops and implements a new comprehensive fundraising strategy. Manages
and receives direction from the Aging Advisory Council, and manages the
department staff and budget.
